How we started
The method came first
Ivory did not begin with a logo or a list of services. It began with a decision about how a clean should actually be done. Most visits use one cloth and one bottle around an entire property, which quietly moves grime from one room into the next. We wanted a standard that ruled that out from the start.
So we built the business around a colour-coded system borrowed from professional and healthcare cleaning. Every zone gets its own cloths, and they never cross over. The cloth that cleans a toilet never touches a kitchen worktop. It is a small discipline, and it is the reason the finish holds up when you look closely.
The colours are not decoration. Each one carries real information about where a cloth has been and where it is allowed to go, so cross-contamination is controlled by the method rather than left to memory on a busy morning.
